Municipal Public Art programs in the West Valley and WESTMARC are excited to announce a unique opportunity for local artists to contribute to the vibrant cultural tapestry of our community. We are seeking talented artists across various disciplines to create temporary site-specific art projects in a variety of locations throughout the West Valley. This initiative aims to foster a deeper connection between our cities, residents, and the rich arts and culture scene flourishing in our region.

Deadline: October 1, 2024 @ 11:59 p.m. (Arizona Time)
Partner Cities: Buckeye, Goodyear, Litchfield Park, Peoria, Surprise, and Tolleson
Project Compensation: $10,000
Eligibility: Professional and emerging artists and artist teams in Arizona

Applicant Workshop and Q&A
A virtual workshop will be held on September 4, 2024 @ 5:30pm via Microsoft Teams. This workshop will involve an overview of tips and tricks to support applicants in applying to artist calls. It will also provide an overview of this specific project and application guidelines. Staff from participating cities will be available to answer questions.
